Recipe for Ham and Cheese Roll-Ups

So much delicious and so easy to prepare with 3 ingredients!


1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

12 slices smoked ham (thinly sliced)

1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese



Preheat en Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured work surface into a centimeter thick rectangle.

Place the ham slices on the dough, leaving a small border free at the edges.

Spread the grated cheese evenly over the ham.Roll up the dough tightly from one long side, as you would a Swiss roll.


Cut the trunk into 2.5 cm pieces and place them on the baking tray.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown and bubbling.

Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Variations and Tips:

Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the cheese to give it a spicy touch.Experiment with different cheeses like Gruyère, Swiss cheese or smoked provolone.


For a vegetarian version, use sautéed spinach and mushrooms (without moisture) instead of ham.

For even more enjoyment, brush the top with melted butter and garlic powder before baking.

Let the dough rest at room temperature for easier handling.
