3 Ingredient Danish Apple Recipe

It’s so delicious I couldn’t believe it’s only 3 ingredients

Ingredients:

2 puff pastry sheets
2 medium apples (peeled, cored and quartered)
1/3 1 cup baker’s sugar (reserve some extra for final sprinkling)
Steps:

Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Simmer the apple quarters in water in a pot for about 4 minutes until they become soft. Drain the water, add the sugar and let the mixture cool.

Divide each sheet of dough into six equal rectangles.
Moisten the edges of a rectangle and then center the candied apple.Cover it with a cut out piece of dough.
Pinch the edges together to form a sealed package. Make the six packages this way.

Place the cakes on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle lightly with sugar.Bake until golden brown and crispy, 12 to 15 minutes.

Enjoy freshly baked Apple Danish while it is still warm to capture all its essence. If you have leftovers (rare!), store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Warm them up a little before serving and they’ll be like new!
